Sharing on the activities of Construction Expenditure Index (IKK)

Sharing the activities of Construction Expenditure Index (IKK) from Section Head of HK and HPB BPS of Maluku Province on Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at BPS Office of Maluku Tengah Regency.

The Survey of Construction Cost Index (IKK) is an annual activity conducted by the BPS to support the calculation of General Allocation Fund (DAU). The price data covered in the IKK survey is the price of building materials / construction, construction equipment rental, and wages of construction services. In addition to these data, also collected data of realization of APBD and Bill of Quantity (BoQ) of completed projects as weighted data / weights of IKK district / city and province. The data were collected through simultaneous surveys across districts / cities in Indonesia with an average sample size of 15 traders' respondents per district / city in 4 (four) different time periods (January, April, July, and October). This survey activity produces IKK data at the District and Provincial levels that are useful as DAU allocation variables.

IKK is a spatial index, a number that shows the comparison of the construction cost of a district / city to a city of reference. The method used to calculate the IKK is Country Dummy Product Regression (CPD)
