Maluku Economy Quarter III Year 2018 Grows 6.34 Percent

Abstract

The Maluku economy is based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices in quarter III-2018 reaching Rp.10.92 trillion and above the constant price of 2010 reaching Rp.7.46 trillion. The Maluku economy in quarter III-2018 grew 6.34 percent (y-on-y). in terms of production, growth was driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth being achieved by the Government, Defense and Mandatory Social Security Business Fields which grew 9.82 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component which grew by 10.28 percent.

The Maluku economy in quarter III-2018 increased by 2.78 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Construction Business Field at 5.23 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the gross fixed capital formation component was 3.98 percent. The Maluku economy in quarter II-2018 (c-to-c) grew 5.76 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by almost all business fields except Mining and Excavation which contracted by 8.18 percent. While in terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component which grew by 10.43 percent.
